Adding Raid Status to sign-ups. When signing up for an event, a guild member will be able to specify whether they are available to fill a spot, tentatively available, or alternate (meaning they will fill the spot if nobody else can). The status will be listed in the sign-ups, and admins will be able to click the status of an individual sign-up to change it for a character. Aside from the status options available to the user, events admins will be able to specify Wait-List (meaning the raid is full or your role is covered, but be on stand-by), or Confirmed (meaning the slot is reserved for that character). This will go live with the other 8.19 changes tonight at around 11 PM EST.

Zul'Aman, Lordaeron (AP) - Hex Lord Malacrass has been slain by a group of adventurers from Pango Honoratus.
Pango Honoratus, a guild hailing from the Sanctuary Shattrath, have
been venturing into the forest trolls' lair for several months. Even
though they've had numerous successes against many of the lesser animal
spirits within Zul'Aman, the vile Hex Lord Malacrass had previously
been able to repel the incursions into his lair.
Sporting freshly patched armor and recently honed weapons, a group of
ten marched up the steps toward the front entrance of Zul'Aman.
Chrios, a hulking beast of a warrior who originally hails from
Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore, was overheard saying "We've got new gear
and we we can do this. Let's make it go." as the gates were opened.
"As soon as I had the gates opened, this big guy struts past me and
without saying nothin' got stuck in with the trolls that were guarding
the gate" said Harrison Jones, gatekeeper in the Hatchet Hills. "And
the little guy, he was just plain nuts. He ran right past me and
jumped into the middle of some trolls that were rushin' the door. I
ain't seen nothin' that crazy since those elves retook their city up
North."
Over the course of several hours, several people were seen making their
way out of Zul'Aman. Many of these refugees were overheard exchanging
stories of being rescued from vile enchantments. Many of them made
mention of the trolls beginning to panic as their sacred Loas were
slain. One lucky dwarf, empty stein in hand, was bellowing about being
giving his great-grandmother's lucky cloak to a group of "surface
dwellers" that had rescued him from immiment sacrifice.
As the moon reached it's zenith, the group from Pango Honoratus was
seen walking through the front gates of Zul'Aman. They looked beaten,
bloody and weary as they handed proof of the Hex Lord's demise to Budd
Nedreck, a treasure seeker who has taken up residence in the Hatchet
Hills.
Armor was strapped to mounts, portals were summond and the group made
their journey back to their guild hall. Poras, a talkative protector
of nature who had a habit of slapping his companions with a rolled up
copy of this publication, cheerfully made it known that Zul'jin may
have rebuffed their first attempt to remove him from his lair but they
would be back. Poras was gracious enough to give us a list of those who were present: Abigail, Champion Aeithium, Blood Guard Chrios, Couga Champion of the Naaru, Dameiela of the Shattered Sun, Elianthanus, Jarulek, Keturakk, Porus Hand of A'dal and Tolrune.
"Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed that World of Warcraft: Wrath of
the Lich King, the PC MMO's second expansion, will launch between
October and December of this year. "We have said that it will be coming out this year," Blizzard CEO
Mike Morhaime revealed in a conference call today. "I can tell you it's
not coming in the July to September quarter." As for the Wrath of the Lich King beta, access for which has sold for upwards of $1000, Morhaime noted that "testing is going very well." During
the call, Morhaime also mentioned that 40% of the World of Warcraft
subscribers that left for Age of Conan have since returned, along with a few other tidbits regarding Diablo 3, StarCraft 2, and the studio's next MMO." (source)
You heard it folks! From the bossman of blizz himself, Mike Morhaime. Better get those pre-orders ready!
